Statistics Education through Quantitative Literacy: Changing Teaching Practices

The recent results of the Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) tells us that teachers are not teaching, but merely assigning homework and reviewing homework in class. This discussion will inform participants of how IUP has been involved in changing teaching practices even prior to the release of the TIMSS study.
