Newton's Method Fractal 3

This fractal shows starting points in the complex plane for Newton's method applied to z4 - 1. This function has four complex roots. Each starting point is colored with one of four colors depending on which root it converges to. This picture shows starting points in the region [0.732, 0.744] x [0.768, 0.780]. A more detailed explanation is available. In particular, see the section, Newton's Method and Fractals.
