VRML Assignment 1
Due Tuesday, September 21, 1999 before class
Build two Mayan temples and two trees. Each Mayan temple should be constructed as a stack of boxes. The bottom of one temple should have a footprint of 60 meters by 80 meters. The footprint of the other temple should be 70 meters by 90 meters. The boxes should have progressively smaller footprints as you go up the stack. All boxes should have the same height. Use at least 4 boxes for each temple. Color the temples in some festive color.
Represent each tree as a sphere atop a cylindrical trunk. Use appropriate colors for the sphere and trunk.
Publish your VRML model as mayan.wrl in your public_html directory on the SGIs. The instructors will check the date that your mayan.wrl was last updated to determine when you completed the assignment. You do not need to hand anything in to the instructor. The instructors will grade assignments by retrieving them from the server.
