| "Lattice of Ideals of a Finite Semiring" is quite
an unusual project for this senior synthesis course. First, there is only
one team member needed for this project, and second, it requires from the
team a wide knowledge of abstract algebra (including semiring and lattice
theories) as well as good programing skills.
This page was designed so that everyone having
basic math knowledge, open to new ideas, and willing to try to understand
some mathematics will have a lot of fun wiht it. However, it is really
necessary to read "Math Behind the Project" before entering the project
itself. Without mathematical background the project will not make much
