Convocation Center

The convocation and multiuse center will be the hub for the new Recreation and Varsity Sports Complex. The convocation center will house the School of Continuing Education, varsity indoor sports, museums, commencements, concerts, and major cultural and performing arts events for the University, the region, and Western Pennsylvania. The concept plan for the center is to be developed during the five-year period 1996-2001, and construction will begin sometime during 2001-2006.
