Before attempting any Fourier transform operations, you must load the package:

In[1]:=

  <<Calculus`FourierTransform`

Caution

Fourier transform calculations eat up memory and you may lose your kernel. Save often. You may have to exit and restart Mathematica. It will help to run a remote kernel on one of the Mathematics Department DECstations.
